People have been asking that I demonstrate our waterproof or water resistant fabrics and how they hold water. I like to make you all happy so here goes… In the following video, I demonstrate the waterproof property of our weatherproof fabrics by letting water sit on top of it for almost 24 hours. 500D Cordura is our best-selling material for use in hunting blinds, so think it would be great for this. It’s not the typical lightweight synthetic fabric used on most commercial tent products, but would be much more durable and last much longer. As with all tents, make sure to incorporate and use proper ventilation – because of the polyurethane coating on the back, this fabric is not breathable.
